Mountain Update as of January 22nd, 2012:
 
Conditions are excellent! Massive snowfall and we officially opened yesterday with a top depth of 55"! Come enjoy the great mid-winter conditions!  Our lift served tubing hill is now open on Saturdays and Sundays and buses will run Saturdays and Sundays for the season.  Bus schedule is the same as last year. 
Ski ya on the mountain!

Magic Mountain Resort refund policy for season 2011-12
  • Season passes are non-refundable for adjustments to hours and days of operation based on snow conditions and/or skier visits.
  • Magic Mountains's fiscal year ends April 15. Refund requests made after April (of the expiration year on the pass) will not be accepted.
  • Child passes are non-refundable once it has been issued.
  • Any refund due to a medical condition is for that individual only. The refund does not extend to family members.
  • A refund for a family member on a "Family" pass is based on the number of members in the family and their ages.
  • Season passes are not "rolled over" or "transferred" from one season to another.
  • Season passes purchased with a Early Bird discount or College Discount will only be refunded for medical conditions, not for relocation.
  • There is no refund for a "Passport" season pass, but the complimentary pass can be transferred to the following year with documentation. It cannot be transferred to another individual.
  • Change in employment status is non-refundable.

Documentation required? a letter from a physician stating medical condition
Magic Mountain season pass returned? The Magic Mountain season pass has to be returned
     How are you refunded? (one of the following)
  1. Credit/debit card (2-3 week process) – please include VISA, MC, DISC number with the expiration date
  2. Check (4-6 week process) - please include a mailing address
  3. Bogus Basin gift card (2-3 week process) – please include a mailing address

RELOCATION

Documentation required?
  1. Proof of relocation, such as a monthly statement (utility, bank, etc) or lease
  2. Copy of employment papers from hiring or transferring company

Magic Mountain season pass returned? The Magic Mountain season pass for theindividual(s) has to be returned.     How are you refunded?

OTHER

Documentation required? A “letter” from pass holder requesting a refund. Refund is on a case-by-case basis; not all requests will be processed. Example of why we would issue a refund: single parent has been injured and minorchild/children cannot ski/board without parent. There is no refund on a“child” pass if the pass has been issued.
